Classes and Services
University of Maryland University College (UMUC) holds undergraduate classes on Andrews Air Force Base in Prince George’s County. This site is on a military installation. Please call this location to receive information on base access. In some instances, a FERPA Release Form may be required.

Directions and Parking
Take the Beltway (I-495) to exit 9 (Andrews AFB), then follow signs to the main gate. The UMUC office is located in the Education Center at 1413 Arkansas Road, Andrews Air Force Base, MD, 20762.
Advising
Advisors are available for walk-in sessions on Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to noon. Scheduled appointments are available on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Wednesdays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Call 301-981-3123 or 301-981-7244 for an appointment at Andrews Air Force Base. Students must have base access to meet with an Advisor in person at Andrews. However, appointments are available to students without base access via phone and email.
Computer Labs
UMUC students have daytime access to a computer lab on Andrews Air Force Base. Call 301-981-3123 for information on the hours and availability of computing facilities.
Library Services
You can access the online catalog of the University System of Maryland (USM) and many full-text Web databases at the computer lab at Andrews Air Force Base. Call UMUC Library Services at 800-888-UMUC (8682), ext 7209 for more information or visit http://www.umuc.edu/library/.
Test Proctoring for Undergraduate Students
The UMUC office at Andrews Air Force Base may be able to provide an approved proctor for undergraduate online course examinations. Contact the office at 301-981-3123 or 301-981-7244 for more information. After you have selected a proctor, register for your proctored exam using the online form through MyUMUC. Any fees for approved individual proctors are your responsibility.
Placement tests for Math and English are offered Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and on Wednesdays by appointment from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Please call 301-981-3123/7244 for more information or to schedule an appointment.
Other Important Information

Security and Civilian Waiver Information. If you do not have a military ID, call 301-981-3123 or 301-981-7244 for information on base entry. Due to recent conditions of heightened security, civilian students taking UMUC classes on military bases may be required to complete a waiver in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) permitting UMUC to provide personal information (i.e., Social Security number, address, and telephone number) to the military administration.
