A UMUC representative maintains office hours at Henderson Hall to support students taking classes online or at other UMUC locations. This site is located on a military installation. Please call this location to receive information on base access. In some instances, a FERPA Release Form may be required.

topDirections and Parking

Take 395 South to Exit 8 Pentagon South Parking, Washington Boulevard, Ridge Road). Stay in right lane and exit right onto 27 to 244 (Washington Boulevard, Columbia Pike). Stay in the right lane and take the 244 East Columbia Pike, Navy Annex Exit. From the exit ramp, turn right onto Columbia Pike. Go one block and make a left onto S. Orme Street. At the end of S. Orme Street, make a left onto Southgate Road and into Gate #1. The UMUC office is in the Lifelong Learning Education Center, Building 29, Room 204.

Undergraduate advising is available on the first and third Mondays of the month, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., by appointment only. Call 202-563-3611 to schedule an appointment.

topLibrary Services

At the Adelphi Student and Faculty Services Center, UMUC librarians are available Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., in Room 2255. UMUC staff members are also available during selected hours at McKeldin Library at College Park (UMCP campus). At either location, you can access the online catalog of the University System of Maryland (USM), more than 100 databases (over 50 of which provide full text journal and newspaper articles), and tutorials on how to do research. Materials from any USM library can be delivered to you at the Student and Faculty Center, Room 2255. Security and Civilian Waiver Information. If you do not have a military ID, call 703-614-9104 for information on base entry. Due to recent conditions of heightened security, civilian students taking UMUC classes on military bases may be required to complete a waiver in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) permitting UMUC to provide personal information (i.e., Social Security number, address, and telephone number) to the military administration.
