Library Services
At the Adelphi Student and Faculty Services Center, UMUC librarians are available Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., in Room 2255. UMUC staff members are also available during selected hours at McKeldin Library at College Park (UMCP campus). At either location, you can access the online catalog of the University System of Maryland (USM), more than 100 databases (over 50 of which provide full text journal and newspaper articles), and tutorials on how to do research. Materials from any USM library can be delivered to you at the Student and Faculty Center, Room 2255. Test Proctoring for Undergraduate Students
The Education Center at Walter Reed Army Medical Center may be able to provide an approved proctor for distance course examinations. Contact the Education Center at 202-782-3023 for more information. Note: Any fees for approved individual proctors are your responsibility.
Other Important Information
Security and Civilian Waiver Information. Due to recent conditions of heightened security, civilian students taking UMUC classes on military bases may be required to complete a waiver in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) permitting UMUC to provide personal information (i.e., Social Security number, address, and telephone number) to the military administration.
