Enroll in UMUC's MAT Mentor Program

The Masters of Arts in Teaching (MAT) Program is accepting applications for its mentoring program. The program provides the opportunity for master secondary educators, from science, technology, engineering and math areas (STEM) and the humanities, to mentor MAT teacher candidates to reach their professional goals.

Benefits for mentored students: The MAT Mentor Program is a free, selective program that allows mentored students to communicate with an experienced master teacher in their content area. By receiving expert guidance, mentored students are more confident, focused and engaged with their career path.
