Counterterrorism Fellow (CTF)

Eligibility
Graduates
of the Counterterrorism Fellow program (CTF) are eligible.
In order for a CTF student to be granted transfer credits,
the student must meet UMUC's criteria for transfer as set
forth in the applicable catalog at the time the student
requests acceptance of the transferred credits.
SNSEE Credit
UMUC will accept a block of
15 transfer credits for each SNSEE student who completes
the program. UMUC will not accept any other transfer
credits toward the Master of International Management
(MIM). These will come in as a track in counterterrorism.
Noncredit Course
All degree-seeking students
are required to complete the noncredit course UCSP
610 Library Skills for the Information Age within
their first 6 credits of study.

Administrative Information
- Students must meet normal UMUC admission requirements.
- Students must apply for admission. On the admissions application, students should indicate that they are applying for the MIM program.
- International students must present official documents indicating successful completion of the equivalent of a regionally accredited U.S. bachelor’s degree. Applicants educated in countries other than the United States must have their official transcripts evaluated by an independent evaluation service.
- Applicants who have not received a bachelor's degree from the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Commonwealth of the Caribbean, or English-speaking Canada must demonstrate English proficiency by submitting a minimum score of 580 on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and a minimum score of 5 on the Test of Written English to be eligible for admission. - All requirements established for the completion of the program must be fulfilled within seven consecutive years and include the track seminar courses taken with SNSEE. This requirement cannot be waived.
