iCollege Certificate Program Partnerships

The UMUC and National Defense University (NDU) Information Resource Management College (iCollege) graduate partnership will save you time and money. For more than a decade, UMUC has partnered with the NDU. The UMUC Graduate School continues to restructure its degree programs, allowing the transfer of credits from a growing number of iCollege certificate programs.

Chief Information Officer (CIO) Certificate

UMUC Degree Programs:

  • Master of Science in technology management (specialization in information systems and services)
  • Master of Science in information technology (specialization in informatics)

Accepted credits: 15

Information Technology Project Management Certificate

UMUC Degree Program:

  • Master of Science in information technology (specialization in project management)

Accepted credits: 12

Information Assurance 4011 Certificate

UMUC Degree Program:

  • Master of Science in information technology (specialization in information assurance)

Accepted credits: 9

Organizational Transformation Certificate

UMUC Degree Programs:

  • Master of Science in technology management (specialization in organizational transformation)
  • Master of Science in information technology (specialization in organizational transformation)

Accepted credits: 15

Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Certificate

UMUC Degree Program:

  • Master of Science in management (specialization in financial management)

Accepted credits: 15

Government Strategic Leader Certificate

UMUC Degree Program:

  • Master of Science in management (specialization in information systems and services)

Accepted credits: 15

iCollege Non-Partnership Programs

UMUC will grant graduate credits to iCollege students who have successfully completed the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) Certificate and Enterprise Architecture Certificate. UMUC and iCollege do not have partnership agreements for these two certificate programs.
