Fort Gordon Warrant Officer Degree Map
Signal Warrant Officers who satisfactorily complete military training will receive the American Council on Education (ACE) recommended credit at UMUC. Credit is awarded based on how it is articulated in the officer's degree plan.
Officers can also receive occupational credit if they provide documentation that they have held a specific occupation for at least a year. The occupation must have already been evaluated by ACE.
The degree maps below for Network Management Technician (250N) and Information Systems Technician (251A) are based on a UMUC review of ACE-evaluated credit conducted in August 2010.
Because Signal Systems Support Technician (254A) has not yet been fully evaluated by ACE, UMUC does not have its degree maps available at this time.
All credit will be placed on the student's official evaluation as appropriate. The degree maps below indicate how military credits apply to the listed degree plans.

254A Rating
Once the 254A Signal Systems Support Warrant Officer Advanced Course and the 254A Occupations are evaluated, their degree maps will be available. All military training a student has acquired will then be applied to his or her official evaluation.
Regardless of these pending evaluations, UMUC awards transfer credit to officers for all Army courses they have taken, and awards occupation credit based on ACE recommendations. Officers must provide documentation of all prior courses and occupations to receive credit.
