Operations
Specialist (OS)
Through the Navy College Program Distance Learning Partnership, Operations Specialists may earn an Associate of Arts degree and/or a Bachelor of Science degree in computer studies. Degree maps are available for each rank ranging from E4 to E9, outlining how many experiential military credits may be accepted toward a degree. The estimate of credit is based on the dates of successful completion of recruit training, ratings, and ranks.
Degree maps are designed to assist you in understanding the specific requirements for a degree in computer studies, as well as to provide guidance in selecting your first courses with UMUC. An official and thorough review of your individual SMART transcript and other credits can be completed once UMUC has received all of your official documents. At that time you may contact an academic advisor to request an official evaluation.
