Workshop Overview
Understanding your own leadership style is the foundation of any leadership development effort. This one-day workshop focuses on state-of-the-art leadership practices, with rich discussion of a leadership model and its application to each participant’s personal leadership approach. The MBTI and the FIRO-B assessment tools will be used to explore aspects of personality and interpersonal style most appropriate in various leadership situations. Participants will recognize behaviors they need to modify, reduce or increase to become more influential.

How Others See Me
Workshop Overview
This half-day workshop introduces participants to Benchmarks, a 360-degree assessment tool and provides them with a one-hour private, confidential review of their report with an NLI Executive Coach—to be scheduled after the workshop session. Participants will gain an understanding of the assessment and their results during the workshop; they will then focus on developmental planning as they identify specific leadership goals.
Objectives
Participants will:
- Receive feedback on leadership skills and perspectives
- Receive guidance and coaching from an NLI Executive Coach
- Create a development plan for improved performance

Personality, Communications and Technology
Workshop Overview
This one-day workshop explores how differing personality styles tend to affect and be affected by e-communications, particularly in situations involving geographically dispersed teams Using the Hogan assessment series to gain insight into their potential as well as challenges, participants will gain a deeper understanding of their leadership personalities. They will apply that knowledge to make more effective choices on how they communicate through technology. This workshop will utilize group activities, discussion and role modeling to give participants new insights on effectively getting their message across.

Exerting Influence Through Social Intelligence
Workshop Overview
Low morale, high stress, limited resources, uncertainty and insecurity make the job of influencing others even more difficult. Leadership, especially in challenging times, requires that managers know how to influence others, even those over whom they have no authority. Social Intelligence—the capacity to understand and manage one's interpersonal and social interactions—is crucial to influencing others. In this workshop, participants receive feedback from the 360-degree tool, Emotional and Social Competency Inventory (ESCI), and practice the use of various influence tactics and behaviors by engaging in experiential activities.
