Media: Web-based multimedia Flash animations

Description: A series of custom illustrations and animations that describe environmental and geologic processes. They enhance the online classroom by illustrating concepts that are difficult for some students to grasp in an text-based environment. HTML versions of each animation are provided to improve accessibility.

Client: UMUC Environmental Management Program

Services provided: The CVU worked with an instructor and distance education coordinator to define content requirements, then recommended designs that provided students with clear and simple visual representations of environmental concepts. The CVU also coordinated multimedia development (graphics, programming, and sound effects).
