The document describes the framework for the assessment of student learning at UMUC. Sections within the report define the core learning areas, detail the roles and responsibilities of faculty and staff, and outline the implementation timeline. The document also details school-level plans for using student learning data to improve practices, programs, and services. The document is updated annually.
Program Assessment Plans [List of PDF Icon PDF files] These documents detail plans for assessing student learning within each program. The Program Assessment Plans identify courses and methods for assessing student learning in each of the degree programs.
Program-Level Learning Assessment Reports [List of PDF Icon PDF files] These documents are periodic reports written by each degree program within the School of Undergraduate Studies and Graduate School of Management and Technology. The reports describe program-specific learning assessment activities and the use of student learning data to improve programs in a designated core learning area.
