Last year, more than 50,000 active-duty servicemembers and their family members were enrolled in UMUC courses.
UMUC advisors are skilled at helping military veterans and active-duty personnel—as well as their spouses or dependents— explore the education assistance benefits available to them through the Montgomery GI Bill, Veterans Educational Assistance Program (VEAP), and Survivors and Dependents Program.
In addition, UMUC offers in-state tuition rates for active-duty servicemembers and their spouses, regardless of their current residence, as well as special scholarship programs for military personnel and their families.
