SUBJECT: Waiver of Fees - Graduate School

UMUC graduate programs are designed to meet the needs of part-time degree-seeking graduate students. The programs are self-supporting and offered at a high cost to the institution. For this reason, fee waivers will be determined on a case-by-case basis under the following procedures.

(1) The applicant has been admitted to the Graduate School.

(2) The applicant presents a properly processed and approved waiver of fee form, or, in the case of Golden ID Card Holders, the appropriate contract form, to the Director of Graduate Admissions and Advising.

(3) Waiver of fees will be granted on a space-available, and first-come, first-served basis and will be subject to enrollment limitations. The decision about fee waiver will not be made until regular registration for the course has been completed.
