SUBJECT: Reduced Fees for Non-Credit Courses for University System of Maryland Employees

Reduced fees for non-credit courses will be available to University System of Maryland employees who fulfill the following criteria:

Letter from appropriate Department Head/Dean requesting discounted fee and authenticating that the specific course is job related.
Space available – Employees with discounted fees will have access to the course on a space-available basis only. Students paying the full registration fee will have seating preference.

The discounted fee will be set high enough to cover student materials and refreshment breaks, and payment of the fee entitles the student to all course materials and breaks. Discounted fees will be set on case-by-case basis.
