The process is at least 8 pages in length (8-25 normal).
Student Prospectus is used graduate-level language, grammar, and writing style.
Student Prospectus is presented in a neatly typed package.
A title sheet and table of contents are included in the prospectus (not counted in 8-25 pages).
A completed Use of Human Subjects Guarantee of Compliance Form is attached.

STATEMENT OF PROBLEM/OPPORTUNITY
A full and careful description of the problem/opportunity is given.
The organizational context of the problem/opportunity is discussed.

LITERATURE REVIEW

The results of a literature search of similar problems/opportunities and their related causes,
context and resolution are included.

METHODOLOGY/APPROACH

The prospectus clearly shows the strategies to be used in analyzing the cause(s)
of the problem/opportunity described.
Arriving at an acceptable solution to the problem/opportunity defined.
Validating the solution selected.
Implementation of the solution.

SOURCES

A bibliography is included (not included in 8-25 page count) that demonstrates that the project will be scholarly and that an adequate literature base exists.

BRIEFING TO SPONSOR

A briefing of the final project report to the sponsoring organization is planned.
The prospectus discusses the need in the approach section.
