FDES Reorganization

Welcome to the Faculty and Distance Education Services (FDES) Web site.

As of July 1, 2005 the department has been reorganized into two new units: Faculty Services and Exams and Testing Services.

Faculty Services:

All inquiries from faculty, both undergraduate and graduate, about UMUC faculty services should be directed to this department. This includes, but is not limited to, information about faculty contracts, payroll, parking permits, ID cards, copying services, teaching assistants, and faculty technology resources.

Exams and Testing Services:

All inquiries from undergraduate faculty, staff, students, and proctors about exams should be directed to this department. This includes information about final exams, proctor requirements, English and math placement testing, make-up exams, and the Adelphi testing center.
