Dual Degrees

Enhance your credentials! Graduates of the MDE program can elect to pursue dual degrees in the following areas:

Master of Distance Education/
Master of Science in Management

Students must complete all requirements for the first degree before beginning the second degree. All MGMT courses must be completed before enrolling in MGMT 670. This dual degree is available both ways.

Required Courses

UCSP 611 Introduction to Graduate Library Research Skills (0), to be taken within the first 6 credits of study.

  • MGMT 610 The Manager in a Technological Society (3)
  • MGMT 615 Intercultural Communication and Leadership (3)
  • MGMT 640 Financial Decision Making for Managers (3)
  • MGMT 650 Statistics for Managerial Decision Making (3)
  • HRMD 651 Current Perspectives in Training and Development (3)

Capstone Course

  • MGMT 670 Strategic Management Capstone (3)
  • Students must complete all MGMT courses before enrolling in MGMT 670.

Master of Distance Education/
Master of Business Administration

Students must complete all requirements for the first degree before beginning the second degree.
