Master of Health Administration Informatics

Program Objectives

Graduates of this program will be able to:

  • Develop management and technical competencies that are critical for overseeing the complex coordination and planning necessary to meet health administration informatics needs
  • Apply strategic planning, implementation and evaluation of information systems, as well as legal, ethical and quality management aspects of information technology for the health care settings

Career Path

Depending on a student’s background and an employer’s criteria, graduates of the MSHAI program may qualify for these positions:

  • Health Administration Informatics Consultant
  • Health Administration Informatics Products Vendor
  • Health Informatics/Data Analyst
  • Health Care Information Services

Student Profile

In addition to the general admission requirements, candidates for this program are required to have at least three years of professional work experience in a health care setting or three years of professional work experience in information technology in a health care setting.
