Our Family for Families First Foundation: 
  Our Future Scholarship for Graduating High School Seniors
  Award Amount: Up to  $50,000
  Application Deadline: February 16, 2012

Our Family for Families First strives to support the educational goals of the children of active duty Service Members. Persons eligible apply for a scholarship offered by Our Family for Families First include: 

If you are the child of an active duty Service Members stationed at one of the following installations, you are eligible to apply for the Our Future Scholarship.

  • Fort Meade
  • Fort Bragg
  • Fort Polk
  • Fort Rucker
  • Fort Riley
  • Fort Sill
  • Aberdeen Proving Ground

Applicants do NOT have to live in a Picerne Military Housing home to be eligible.  The Our Future Scholarship:  

  • a four-year, $50,000 scholarship 
  • open to graduating high school seniors with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA at the time of application 
  • $12,500 per year for four years
  • scholars must attend a four-year institution

5th Annual Women In Technology Scholarship(WITS) Program
  Award Amount: Up to  $2,500
  Application Deadline: March 15, 2012

Visionary Integration Professionals (VIP) is pleased to announce the fifth annual Women in Technology Scholarship (WITS) Program. The scholarship supports promising women who are enrolled at, or are accepted into, either a two or four year U.S. college or university for the 2012 school year. 


Eligibility Requirements:

To qualify, candidates must have a career path in information technology or a related field and meet the program requirements defined in the application. Submissions are evaluated based on candidate essays, which define and offer meaningful solutions to specific local or statewide information technology problems. Additionally, consideration will be given to academic performance, as well as the level of involvement and leadership in community service and extracurricular activities.
