In the spirit of continued improvement and innovation, UMUC is moving from the current online course delivery system, WebTycho, to a new online classroom, LEO. This will provide the platform for all of UMUC’s online classrooms in the future. To ensure a smooth and successful transition, the migration from WebTycho to LEO is being implemented in a phased approach, and is scheduled for completion in late 2014.
What does this mean for students?
LEO offers a learning environment that is as flexible, intuitive and mobile for students who access their classroom from all over the world. During the transition period, both new and current students may be enrolled in classes in WebTycho and/or LEO.
Where do I go if I have questions?
A dedicated LEO communication site for students has been created to provide valuable information on how LEO improves the student’s educational experience. The site features training videos, communications, and technical support information to help prepare student for the new learning environment. Students are encouraged to get familiar with these resources.
