Graduate Tuition Per Credit

Note: Tuition rates are subject to the approval of the University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents. They may be changed, or other charges may be included, as a result of the Board of Regents decisions. Notwithstanding any other provision of this or any other university publication, the university reserves the right to make changes in tuition, fees and other charges at any time such changes are deemed necessary by the university and the USM Board of Regents.

* Active-duty military personnel and their spouses, those in the Selected Reserve and members of the Maryland National Guard are eligible for Maryland resident tuition rate. Some dependent children of active duty military personnel and some veterans are eligible for the Maryland resident tuition rate. Please see sections IV. Graduate Tuition Per Program for Executive Programs

Note: Tuition for graduate Executive Programs generally includes the cost of tuition, books, library skills course, instructional materials and (for the MBA) an international study trip—except for airfare. Neither tuition remission for USM employees nor Golden ID benefits may be used for the Executive Programs.

Note: The Board of Regents has authorized the university to charge a student's delinquent account for all collection costs incurred by the university. The normal collection fee is 17 percent plus attorney and/or court costs. The service charge for a dishonored check is $30. Requests for services (for example, transcripts, diplomas, withdrawals) will be denied until all debts are paid.

All graduate students are required to pay graduate tuition for all graduate courses in which they are enrolled.
