Job Fairs at UMUC

UMUC's Office of Career Services coordinates several exciting job fairs each year to give employers and UMUC students an opportunity to connect. These include:

  • Career Week: This two-day job fair event focuses on a specific group of majors each day. This year's event took place in February and covered the business and liberal arts, IT, cybersecurity and biotechnology.
  • Cybersecurity Expo: UMUC leads the way in cybersecurity with this dynamic event that includes a traditional face-to-face job fair and a virtual job fair. This year's event took place in April.
  • Career Services Virtual Job Fair: Participate from your desk or laptop in the Virtual Job Fair. This year's event takes place on
    • July 23-July 27, 2012
  • Annual Job Fair: This is a one-day traditional job fair targeting students from all majors.
    • October 2012: Exact date TBD

Preparing for the Job Fair

Once you register, make sure to take advantage of Career Services' resources.

  • Have Your Resume Critiqued. Is your resume free of errors and in a good format to present to employers? Have an experienced Career Services counselor critique your resume. It's FREE!
