February 27–28, 2012

Give your organization access to motivated and experienced job candidates. Register to participate for one or two days in UMUC's Career Week 2012, February 27–28, 2012, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Academic Center at Largo.

Job Fair and Registration Information

Career Week is a two-day event with each day focused on a specific group of majors. As an employer, you can choose which days you would like to participate depending on the disciplines in which you are seeking job candidates.

Monday, February 27

  • Business, Liberal Arts, Criminal Justice, Legal Studies, and Public Safety Majors. Targets undergraduate and graduate students who are majoring in Accounting, Asian Studies, Business Administration, Communications, Education, English, Finance, Gerontology, Healthcare Administration, History, Human Resources, Humanities, International Business, Management, Marketing, Political Science, Project Management, Psychology, Social Science, Criminal Justice, Emergency Management, Environmental Management, Fire Service Administration, Homeland Security, Investigative Forensics, or Legal Studies.  Registration is now closed!

Tuesday, February 28

  • IT, Cybersecurity, and Biotechnology Majors. Targets undergraduate and graduate students who are majoring in Biotechnology, Computer Science, Computer and Information Science, Computer Information Technology, Computer Studies, Cybersecurity, Graphic Communication, Information Systems Management, Information Technology, Technology Management, or Telecommunications Management. Registration is now closed!

Refreshments and snacks will be provided.

Cost to Attend

The cost to attend is $75 per day, which includes a standard display table and an afternoon coffee and snack break for representatives from your company. Or you can have your registration fee waived for this event—and for all other job fair events for an entire year—by becoming a sponsor!

Directions and Parking

All parking at the Academic Center at Largo is free. You will find the parking lot in the rear of the building.

Sponsorship Opportunities

As a sponsor, your company may be entitled to

  • Waived registration fees at all UMUC job fairs for one year

  • The inclusion of your company logo in our job fair marketing materials, on the Career Services Web page, and in our newsletter

  • Targeted recruiting opportunities

  • Invitations to other key UMUC events

Cancellation Policy

By submitting your registration, you are committing to participate in the event and will be held responsible for payment, unless you cancel your registration within one week of the start of the fair. To cancel your registration, you must notify Lakeisha Mathews via e-mail at lmathews@umuc.edu.
