The Federal Job Search
UMUC is a partner with the federal government in the Call to Serve program, which aims to educate the public about federal service and improve the ability of federal agencies to recruit and hire talented candidates. As a participating institution, Career Services has direct access to more than 75 federal agencies, a pipeline into workforce happenings in the federal government and access to resources for students interested in federal employment.
Strategies for the Federal Job Search
Finding a position in the federal government is a long process that takes a little more work than just submitting a cover letter and resume. Career Services offers numerous resources to help students and alumni in the federal job search.
