Candice Isaac – 2013 Student Advisory Council Representative, Stateside

Biography

Hi everyone! My name is Candice Isaac and I’m currently a junior at University of Maryland University College majoring in Human Resource Management with a minor in Business Administration. I obtained my Associate in Applied Science in Paralegal Studies from Montgomery College in 2011. 

I'm originally from Trinidad and Tobago but now reside in Maryland. I have a strong administrative background working in the hospitality, healthcare, and government contracting fields. My time at University of Maryland University College has shown me that I have more than administrative skills to contribute to the world. 

I am the current Director of Membership and Distance Learning for UMUC's SHRM Student Chapter. I enjoy learning about cultures, writing, event planning, and exploring DC.
