Transfer Credit Information
You will need a total of 120 semester hours to graduate from UMUC.
If you've taken courses from a four-year college or a community college, those
credits may count toward your degree. You may transfer up to 90 semester hours
of credit from a four-year regionally accredited college or university. A maximum
of 60 semester hours may be transferred from community colleges. UMUC may also
accept transfer credits from military and other non-traditional sources. At least half the credit within the major, minor, or certificate must be earned through UMUC.
