Where Did My Gift Go?

Thanks to gifts from our faculty and staff, as well as alumni and friends, UMUC awarded almost 5,000 scholarships in the last academic year. Two hundred and thirty-seven members of the UMUC community gave a total of $150,902 through the Faculty and Staff Campaign (including multiyear pledges and annual gifts). 

Gifts supported four areas of need:

$124,740 was designated to 25 different scholarship funds.

 $20,442 was given to support the university's areas of greatest need, without any restrictions. A portion of this support fund was used for additional textbook awards and scholarships for our military students.

 $3,560 was designated for the Arts Program Support Fund, which provides support to UMUC’s exceptional art collections.

 $2,160 was raised for the support of additional institutional programs such as the Dragon Boat Fund.
