How to Join

Your membership to the President's Circle and generous donation will provide strength and growth to the university and its students.  

To join, sign up online by following these steps:  

  1. Access UMUC's Online Giving Form.
  2. Use the "Select Fund" drop-down menu and select the fund of your choice.*
  3. Under 'Amount of Gift,' choose 'Other.' In the 'Other Gift Amount' box, enter the amount of your choice.**
  4. Continue to fill out the donation form with your information.

Ready to sign up? Complete the Online Giving Form.

*Donors may also create their own endowed scholarship fund. For more information, please call 301-985-7110.

**The minimum requirement is a pledge of $15,000. Pledges must be met within five years.


The Ehrensberger Society


The Ehrensberger Society was created to honor and recognize the enormous contributions Raymond "Ray" Ehrensberger made to University of Maryland University College (UMUC). Dr. Ehrensberger is credited with being the first Dean of the College of Special and Continuation Studies and later the first Chancellor of the newly named UMUC. 

The Ehrensberger Society is an exclusive club created for UMUC benefactors. UMUC confers Ehrensberger Society membership on those whose generosity and vision helps ensure that UMUC continues to have a bright future. 

Members of the society have demonstrated an unwavering confidence in UMUC by choosing to make planned or deferred gifts that will benefit the university at a future date.
