People with disabilities may have difficulty accessing Impatica presentations:
In the event that you need to provide accommodations for people with disabilities, always think of alternative ways of delivering the information in your presentation. While you may wish to discuss an appropriate solution with the users themselves, the following suggestions may also be useful:
For non-narrated presentations, provide the original PowerPoint or a slide-by-slide text version of its content that users will be able to scroll through sequentially. This version will be accessible to people using screen readers and people with mobility impairments.
For narrated presentations, make a transcript of your narrated comments, then develop a master copy of your lecture that contains the information for each slide accompanied by the transcribed commentary. Include short text summaries of any graphic materials in the slides. Rendered as a HTML or Word file, this document will be accessible to people with disabilities, including deaf and hard-of-hearing people.
You may also find that having a master copy of your lecture is useful in updating or revising its content.
Caution : The Impatica for PowerPoint User's Manual suggests using the Notes feature in PowerPoint as an accessibility aid in creating narrated Impatica presentations. Impaticized Notes will render an HTML version of narrated comments, but in practice it will be difficult for viewers with disabilities to get the full content of the presentation from the Notes. Using Notes for this purpose is not likely to provide a satisfactory accommodation.

Break the source PowerPoint file into two or more separate files. Add a link from the last side of the first segment to the first slide of the next segment. Impaticize and upload each file separately.
Or, you can upload the file directly to your own Web server. See the How-To page for more information.
