Dorsey Station

2118 [Open- Access Lab — 16  workstations] An open-access lab is available to all students, faculty, staff and alumni.  Workstations are "multimedia ready" Dell GX620's with CD-RW/DVD playback drives and floppy drives for storage accessibility.  A photocopier is available for student use.  Printing is available as a pay as you print service.  Print cards are available in the computer lab for a nominal fee and can be used at the Adelphi and Dorsey Station locations. Headphones, CDs, USB drives are supplied by the student.

2125 [Instructional Lab — 31 student + 1 instructor workstation(s)]

Workstations are "multimedia ready" Dell GX620's with CD-RW/DVD playback drives and floppy drives for storage accessibility.  A projector, and a laser printer are available for use. Additional information is available on the Intranet for faculty and staff. The room is equipped with a "smart" podium *.

Other classrooms-

Other lecture classrooms may be equipped with "smart" podiums* for presentation use.

  * "Smart" podiums are "multimedia" lecterns usually equipped with a PC, sound system, VCR/DVD player, and touch-screen remote controls, that is attached to an digital projector for presentation.   

Waldorf Center

Workstations are "multimedia ready" Dell GX620's with CD-RW/DVD playback drives and floppy drives for storage accessibility.  A projector, scanner and a printer are available for use. Additional information is available on the Intranet for faculty and staff. The room is also equipped with a "smart" podium*. 

Open-access lab

CSM grants UMUC students access to the student lab with UMUC ID. Please call the Waldorf Center (301-632-2900) for current hours.

Andrews AFB
