Create Rule / Filter in OWA
The Rules option in OWA enables you to create some usual filtering for ease of email management.
To create an email rule, you can simply highlight a message, then right click and choose
Create Rule from its context menu, or click on thebutton.
When the Rules options appear, fill in the appropriate Rule Name,
Email address, Subject, and Conditions (signified by "when a message arrives") for the rules as shown below.
Then select the action, in the "Then" section.
If you elected to Move or Copy your message, and then clicked the specified folder,
you would then get to choose which folder to file that message in the box below.
There is also an option for a New folder.
Suppose we chose to file messages meeting this rule's criteria into the Test folder,
we would select the folder Test, as shown in effect below.
But, be sure to click onwhen done.
You should now see your rule listed under Rule Name.
Simple!
