University of Maryland University College accepts many industry-standard certifications for college credit. As long as you earned the certification within the past five years, you may be able to earn credit toward lower-level classes at UMUC. Just submit documentation of your certification along with your transcripts.

Keep in mind these credits don't qualify toward requirements for upper-level courses taken at UMUC if they are earned by exam.
