Tycho Client
In courses offered via the Tycho Client, you use the client software and a telnet session to access the functions of your virtual class. To get started, download the Tycho Client software. (This software is also available on disk. To request an installation disk, contact Tycho Support.) For the telnet session you will need to either use a modem and connect directly to one of the UMUC Host Computer Systems or connect through an Internet Service Provider (ISP). (Note: Use the latter method to avoid long-distance calling fees - if applicable)
