A MESSAGE FROM PRESIDENT SUSAN ALDRIDGE
In light of the horrific events on the campus of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) on April 16, 2007, our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims of the violence and especially to our colleagues in higher education and to the students, alumni, family members, and friends of Virginia Tech who have lost loved ones in this senseless tragedy.
As we stand in solidarity with Virginia Tech during this time, please be sensitive to the needs of your colleagues and/or fellow students whose lives may have been touched by these events.

To honor the victims of this tragedy, Virginia Tech friends and family members across the country have united to declare this Friday, April 20, “Orange and Maroon Effect” day. The Virginia Tech Alumni Association invites you to show your support by wearing the school’s colors this Friday.
