Under the direction of the Associate Vice President, Procurement Services, we are strongly committed to our campus customers. In support of UMUC's mission, we procure goods and services using best value practices while working collaboratively to meet the needs of our customers. The office ensures the University's procurements are conducted in a competitive, fair and open environment and in full compliance with applicable policies, laws, and regulations. We identify opportunities to establish contracts that capitalize on the University's buying power and work closely with the institution's community to ensure contract compliance.

Project DescriptionUMUC is seeking to outsource a variety of student account functions including but not limited to, hosting and payment gateways; 1098T Services; Payment Plans; Federal Perkins Loan Program; and Third Party Payer Software solutions. UMUC prefers to award to one vendor who is able to provide all of the requested programs and services or to a vendor providing multiple services per the solicitation document. UMUC will consider a proposal from a prime vendor with one or more sub-contractors. RFP 90958: Recruitment Process Outsourcing Services
Project DescriptionRFP 90958 for Recruitment Process Outsourcing Services - University of Maryland University College (UMUC) is seeking to partner with an external vendor to enhance/supplement our current talent acquisition efforts. We are currently exploring alternative solutions for end-to-end recruitment processes. Our overarching goals entail (1) ensuring seamless and effective faculty and staff talent acquisition processes; (2) enhancing our employment brand and ability to attract, source, manage prospective applicants (thus ensuring a great applicant experience); and, (3) building a productive pipeline of talent. We will focus on quality of hire, hiring manager satisfaction, cycle time reduction, accuracy, and technology, to name a few. Current challenges include, but are not limited to: improving automated recruitment process; ensuring consistency in position postings, applicant sourcing and screening, interview and selection processes, and offer administration; and, facilitating reference and background checks. Resulting contract is anticipated to be for approximately five years and six months through 6/30/2017. It should be noted that quality service delivery and increasing value is essential to an acceptable solution and will certainly be a criteria in the selection of the successful vendor (may also be referred as “Contractor” or “Provider”). Refer to the RFP for further information about the Scope of Work for the Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) and the requirements of the Technical Proposal. The selected Contractor must be located in the domestic United States, preferably geographically close to Adelphi, MD. | |||||
