Joseph Sheppard: The Art of Portraiture
Join the UMUC community for Joseph Sheppard: The Art of Portraiture. This exhibition will be the center's fourth to highlight works by Maryland artist Joseph Sheppard, who was born in 1930 in Owings Mills, Maryland, and educated at the Maryland Institute College of Art under Jacques Maroger, the former technical director of the Louvre Museum in Paris.
This portraiture exhibition is the latest in a series celebrating the 2010 opening of the center. The center includes a gallery, study center, and indoor sculpture garden, all centered around a spacious, multilevel reception area.
