The UMUC Arts Program and Governor Robert Ehrlich are pleased to present this sculpture exhibition at the Governor's residence at Government House in Annapolis, Maryland. The sculptors featured in this exhibition, Nannette Clapman Blinchikoff, Reuben Kramer, Perna Krick, Jill Lion, James Earl Reid, Louis Rosenthal, and Joseph Sheppard, are all Maryland artists. Several of the artworks on display belong to the UMUC Maryland Artists Collection, but some have been loaned to the university by collectors and by the artists themselves for this exhibition. Though these artists are united by their ties to the state of Maryland, their works display a broad range of styles, media, and techniques for interpreting the world through the art of sculpture.
