From 270 North, take Route 15 toward Gettysburg. Take the 7th Street exit and make a right at the end of the exit. Follow about 1/2 mile to the entrance of Fort Detrick.
From Baltimore, Maryland: Take Interstate 695 to Interstate 70 West. In Frederick, take Exit 53, Route 15 North. Follow Route 15 North to the 7th Street exit. Turn right on 7th Street, then follow four blocks to Fort Detrick's main gate.
From Washington, D.C.: Take Interstate 495 North to Interstate 270 (Exit 38) toward Rockville. At Frederick, Interstate 270 ends and joins Route 15 North. Follow Route 15 North to the 7th Street exit. Turn right on 7th Street, then follow four blocks to Fort Detrick's main gate.

- Placement testing for writing and math courses on a walk-in basis.
- Proctoring services for non-UMUC students.
