University of Maryland University College (UMUC) offers classes and services at the Higher Education and Conference Center at HEAT.  This location serves transfer students from Harford Community College and local military and civilian students who need advising or other student services.

Directions and Parking

The Higher Education and Conference Center at HEAT, located at 1201 Technology Drive, Aberdeen, Maryland 21001, is at Aberdeen Exit 85W off of I95 and is approximately 35 minutes north of Baltimore and 60 minutes from Philadelphia.  

Advising

Representatives are available for appointments. Call 443-360-9136 for available times.  Advising appointments are also available via Skype. Call 443-459-3500 to schedule a Skype appointment.

Computer Labs

Computer lab access is available for students when classes are not in session. Please see the information desk for hours and availability.  Computer access is also available for military students at Aberdeen Proving Ground. Call 410-272-8269 or 301-621-9882 for information.

Library Services

You can access the online catalog of the University System of Maryland (USM) and many full-text Web databases at the UMUC office at Aberdeen Proving Ground. Call UMUC Library Services at 800-888-UMUC (8682), ext 7209 for more information or visit the UMUC Library.

Textbook Distribution

MBS Direct can provide all of the textbook and course materials you need for your courses. MBS Direct is also your sole source for UMUC course guides, lab kits, and video and audiotapes.
