University of Maryland University College (UMUC) offers advising at Fort Myer in Virginia to support students taking classes online or at other UMUC locations. This site is located on a military installation. UMUC student services at Fort Myer are restricted to military personnel and civilians with Department of Defense (DOD) identification permitting base entry.

Take 395 South to Exit 8A. Follow signs to Fort Myer.

Advising

Schedule an appointment or walk in to meet with an advisor on Mondays from 9 a.m.–4 p.m. Call 703-781-0059 to schedule an appointment.

Placement Testing

Members of the military and the civilian community with base access may take placement tests at this location for writing and math courses. Please call to schedule an appointment.

Library Services

Librarians are available via e-mail, chat, phone and instant message. For more information and to access the online catalog, more than 125 research databases and view tutorials on how to conduct research, please visit the UMUC library online.
