University of Maryland University College (UMUC) offers student services at Marine Corps Base Quantico in Virginia. This site is located on a military installation. Please call this location to receive information on base access. In some instances, a FERPA Release Form may be required.

Directions and Parking
Take I-95 to Exit 148 toward Marine Corp Base Quantico. As the end of the exit ramp, make a left at the stop sign. Continue straight to the back gate of the base. Follow and keep to the right at the circle. The UMUC office is located in Building 3089, next to the swimming pool.
Advising
Undergraduate advising is available on Thursdays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., by appointment only. Call 703-630-1543 to schedule an appointment.
Library Services
At the Adelphi Student and Faculty Services Center, UMUC librarians are available Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., in Room 2255. UMUC staff members are also available during selected hours at McKeldin Library at College Park (UMCP campus). At either location, you can access the online catalog of the University System of Maryland (USM), more than 100 databases (over 50 of which provide full text journal and newspaper articles), and tutorials on how to do research. Materials from any USM library can be delivered to you at the Student and Faculty Center, Room 2255. Other Important Information
Security and Civilian Waiver Information. If you do not have a military ID or DOD vehicle decal, call 703-630-1543 for instructions on obtaining a vehicle entry pass. Due to recent conditions of heightened security, civilian students taking UMUC classes on military bases may be required to complete a waiver in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) permitting UMUC to provide personal information (i.e., Social Security number, address, and telephone number) to the military administration. You may find the FERPA Release Form online.
