University of Maryland University College (UMUC) offers classes and services at the Universities at Shady Grove (USG). This location serves transfer students from Montgomery College and local military and civilian students who need advising or other student services. This site is conveniently located near I-270. It can also be reached by Ride-On-Bus #43 from the Shady Grove Metro Station.

Services
Directions and Parking
Universities at Shady Grove is located at 9636 Gudelsky Drive, Rockville, MD 20850.
Take I-270 to Exit 8, Shady Grove Road West. Go 1.5 miles, cross the intersection with Darnestown Road, and turn right onto Gudelsky Way, turn left at the stop sign onto Gudelsky Drive. Follow the road around to the parking area. Parking is free.
Undergraduate and Graduate Advising
Academic advisors are available Monday through Friday to meet with students. Please call 301-738-6090 to make a face-to-face or Skype appointment.
Computer Labs
Shady Grove is equipped with a computer lab. Learn more about the computer lab or call 301-738-6363.
Library Services
A library service area is available at the Academic Center at Largo. Librarians are also available via e-mail, chat, phone and instant message. Materials from any University System of Maryland library can be delivered to you at the Academic Center at Largo. Call 240-684-2020 or 800-888-UMUC (8682), option 3, ext. 2020, to learn more. Textbook Distribution
MBS Direct can provide all of the textbook and course materials you need for your courses. MBS Direct is also your sole source for UMUC course guides, lab kits, and video and audiotapes.

Other Important Information
The Universities at Shady Grove is a unique model for delivering quality higher education to upper-level undergraduate and graduate students. Nine of the University System of Maryland's (USM) 11-degree granting institutions collaborate programs at Shady Grove.
Classes are held in all three buildings of the Shady Grove Center.
Please verify room numbers in the building lobby the first night of class.
