UMUC Wins Awards for Outstanding Faculty Service, Program Development, More
Faculty and students of UMUC’s Graduate School have been recognized with six awards from the University Professional & Continuing Education Association (UPCEA). The UPCEA is the leading association for professional, continuing and online learning in the higher education community.
At the regional level, the UPCEA awards honor and acknowledge outstanding education professionals for service and leadership and recognize originators of creative programs, activities and service.
“My full appreciation and gratitude go to our awardees for their extraordinary contributions on behalf of UMUC, The Graduate School and its students,” said Robert Goodwin, acting vice provost and dean. “Please join me in congratulating them on receiving these highly competitive and well-deserved honors.”

Overall, UMUC took home six of only 11 regional awards granted by UPCEA this year.
