Honoring American Indian Heritage Month with Song and Dance

Join your fellow UMUC students, faculty, staff and friends to see the renowned Piscataway Indian Nation Singers and Dancers performing in honor of American Indian Heritage Month.

Famous for their internationally recognized living history program, Mark Tayac and the Piscataway Indian Nation Singers and Dancers delight audiences throughout Europe, Canada and the United States with their colorful, artistic and educational performances. 

In addition to making a movie appearance with actor Kevin Costner (“Dances With Wolves”), the group has been featured in several television specials on the History Channel and the Discovery Channel and can be seen regularly at the Smithsonian Museum of the American Indian, national pow-wows and major festivals throughout the country.
