SAIC Starts Cybersecurity Scholars Program

The Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) has started a merit-based scholarship program specifically for master's-level students pursuing fields of study related to cybersecurity and information technology at UMUC. The SAIC Cybersecurity Scholars Program was created to support its recipients for their entire course of study, including the assignment of SAIC mentors.

To be eligible, you must

  • Be enrolled in or applying for admission to a program related to cybersecurity or information technology.
  • Have a degree in an IT related field or equivalent of six years of work experience in the IT field.
  • Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) in your last degree earned.
  • Actively participate in the SAIC mentorship program.

Scholarships are renewable each term.
