Your Voice Counts! The Employee Engagement Survey

surveyThe deadline to participate in the UMUC Employee Engagement Survey has been extended through Sunday, November 4. UMUC faculty and staff are encouraged to participate in this confidential, university-wide employee engagement survey designed to collect information about the UMUC workplace.  

UMUC Stateside departments that reach a response rate of 70 percent will be invited to a celebratory lunch. Departments at UMUC Asia and UMUC Europe that reach a response rate of 70 percent will receive a scarf with the UMUC logo. 

Your responses will help guide the university forward as we work to position UMUC as a global employer of choice. UMUC will develop action plans based on the aggregate data from this survey, and the accuracy and value of the data generated will depend on your candid feedback. 

An independent third party vendor, Hay Group, will administer the survey and ensure its confidentiality. Rest assured that no one from UMUC will ever see an individual’s survey answers.

Watch your e-mail for a message from Hay Group (UMUCSurvey.Global@haygroup.com), which will include a personalized link to a secure, external site that will host the survey. During this two week period, the survey will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You are welcome to complete it during work hours.

After the survey is complete, the university will share the summarized results with the UMUC community, and we will use what we learn to establish benchmarks, measure growth and improvement and guide our planning and decision-making as it relates to the UMUC workplace.
