Marky Campbell

Marky CampbellMarky Campbell serves as the senior vice president of Partnerships and Strategic Alliances.  In this role she supervises the Office of Enrollment Management, the department of Military Operations as well as the department of Community Relations.  Prior to her senior vice president appointment, from 2008 until 2010, Ms. Campbell served as the vice president of Enrollment Management.  During that time, UMUC experienced significant and consistent growth.  During her time as vice president of Enrollment Management, Ms. Campbell established a customer service model, oversaw the creation of a state of the art contact center and implemented a quality assurance program.

Prior to her service in enrollment management Ms. Campbell held a variety of positions throughout UMUC beginning in 1999.  Additionally, she has held positions with the Department of Defense as an educational counselor, a DoD secondary school teacher in Keflavik, Iceland and taught English as a second language for Saudi Arabian International Academy, Taif, Saudi Arabia.

Ms. Campbell holds a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Kentucky and has completed graduate-level work in human resources management.  In 2008, Ms. Campbell received UMUC President’s Distinguished Achievement Award, honoring her many accomplishments.
