Nadine Porter, JD
As a distinguished and experienced leader in human resources management, Ms. Porter is skilled in successfully designing and delivering human resources products and programs in support of business strategies and goals, as well as effectively navigating complex and highly matrixed organizations. While serving as chief human resources officer for the University of Pennsylvania Health System, she provided human resources leadership, counsel, and recommendations to UPHS Executive Leadership and clients within Corporate Services and developed and implemented annual human resources plans that addressed customer needs and supported business objectives.
Prior to that role, Ms. Porter held positions as interim chief human resources officer, chief human resources officer, and human resources generalist in the health system. She formerly served as interim associate executive director of human resources and as equal employment opportunity director at the Health and Hospitals Corporation Metropolitan Hospital in New York.
In addition to her vast human resources management experience, Ms. Porter served as an adjunct faculty member at St. Joseph's University, where she taught a graduate course, Managing Employee Relations in the Health Care Setting. She holds a law degree (JD) from the University at Buffalo School of Law and a bachelor's degree (BS) from the Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
