Natural Disaster Response Information
The University of Maryland University College community is made up of students and faculty from all parts of the country and the world. Should you be unable to continue in an online course, or if you are facing financial difficulties because of a natural disaster, we have programs in place to help.
In the aftermath of a natural disaster, such as a hurricane, the university may institute programs and scholarships to assist affected students at UMUC and other institutions. In such an event, you can find the most recent information and resource links by visiting this page.

If you are a current student, contact your faculty member as soon as communication channels become available. For general information or guidance, contact your academic advisor. Should you have financial concerns, contact Student Financial Services through 855-655-UMUC (8682) or e-mail the Financial Aid Office.
We will expeditiously admit and enroll students who have been displaced from their universities because of a natural disaster. If you would like to continue your coursework at UMUC, either online or in classrooms in Maryland, call 855-655-UMUC (8682) for admission.
