We're adopting a new name to better communicate our commitment to bringing higher education to you no matter where life takes you. And, if you ask us, the new name sounds a whole lot better, too.

University of Maryland University College is now University of Maryland Global Campus.

In April, Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan signed legislation approving the change, which officially went into effect on July 1, 2019. This fall, you'll see the rollout of the new name in various university materials, including our website. Technical changes will continue into 2020.

Please check this page over the coming months, as we will continue to update it to help address any questions you may have.
